Jan van der Poel is an experienced geo-information professional and connector within the public safety domain. He serves as an information management advisor and previously chaired the national Geo & Business Intelligence Working Group, leveraging geospatial data to enhance safety and strengthen collaboration.
Strategic policy advisor, formerly advisory board member of the ADW (2018 - 2024) and founder of the Amsterdam Drone Lab. With over two decades of experience in the public sector, actively in technology, digital innovation and public safety. As a member of the Chief Technology Office of the City of Amsterdam I am envolved in digital innovation on safety and security topics within urban environments.
Joshua produced a short documentary film about the use of drones, digital innovation and data-driven decision making on crowd safety during Europe's largest open event in the city, SAIL Amsterdam 2025. SAIL harbours 2.5 million visitors and 10.000 boats and ships during 5 days in the city of Amsterdam. The documentary will be shown during the Intertraffic on Friday, March 13 at 13:45 - 15:00.
I’m Kevin Woensdregt, Manager Drones at ANWB Medical Drones. We work on developing a nationwide medical drone network to help keep healthcare accessible by transporting critical medical goods quickly and efficiently through the air.
I’m convinced that drones can safely and seamlessly operate alongside manned aviation, provided we establish clear rules around visibility, priority, and operational boundaries. That belief drives my work as we collaborate with healthcare partners and aviation stakeholders to build reliable, integrated drone operations that strengthen the logistical links between healthcare providers across the Netherlands.

He fosters collaboration with local and international stakeholders to promote coordinated and pragmatic integration of unmanned systems, ensuring realistic and safe implementation.
