Joshua Serrão

Strategic policy advisor, formerly advisory board member of the ADW (2018 - 2024) and founder of the Amsterdam Drone Lab. With over two decades of experience in the public sector, actively in technology, digital innovation and public safety. As a member of the Chief Technology Office of the City of Amsterdam I am envolved in digital innovation on safety and security topics within urban environments.

Joshua produced a short documentary film about the use of drones, digital innovation and data-driven decision making on crowd safety during Europe's largest open event in the city,  SAIL Amsterdam 2025. SAIL harbours 2.5 million visitors and 10.000 boats and ships during 5 days in the city of Amsterdam. The documentary will be shown during the Intertraffic on Friday, March 13 at 13:45 - 15:00.
