The future of ITSUP, the event for smart mobility startups, is promising. After ITSUP’s launch at Intertraffic Amsterdam, the event is now being rolled out at every Intertraffic edition globally. Editha met with Startup Mexico to discuss the opportunities to connect Mexican startups with Intertraffic’s audience.
Its recognized by both parties that it is beneficial for startups, exhibitors, visitors and investors to work closely together in order to create new, innovative solutions for tomorrow’s mobility challenges. In Mexico, there are many startups with solutions in smart mobility and Startup Mexico is the leading organization in Mexico fostering innovative, entrepreneurial and economic developments at local and international level.
We also had a meeting with a senior executive of one of Mexico’s largest banks, Citibanamex. They confirmed the importance of linking business with (new) initiatives and some of Citibanamex’ clients have a high interest to explore investment opportunities within our industry. This may result in interesting matchmaking at Intertraffic Mexico.
And while the Intertraffic team was stuck in traffic on to their next meeting, they witnessed a beautiful smart solution for one of Mexico’s key mobility topics, Mobility as a Service, operative through the Chinese Moobikes.
