
Régis Nishimoto
Régis Eidi Nishimoto is a senior executive and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in traffic enforcement and road safety. He is a key leader at Mobilis, a global market reference and the leader in the world’s largest traffic enforcement market, where he has helped combine technological innovation with large-scale operational expertise.
Over Mobilis’ 34-year history, Régis has been directly involved in the deployment of intelligent traffic enforcement systems that have contributed to saving more than 100,000 lives worldwide. His work focuses on the practical application of emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, connected systems, and cloud-based platforms—to deliver measurable safety outcomes while ensuring transparency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
In addition to his executive role, Régis is a member of the Technical Chamber of the Brazilian National Traffic Office (SENATRAN) and serves as a Director of the Traffic Engineering Companies Association in Brazil (ABEETRANS). In these capacities, he actively contributes to the development of technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and public policies related to traffic enforcement and road safety.
Régis has extensive experience designing and implementing flexible business models for traffic enforcement programs, including public-operated systems and concession-based partnerships.
