Speakers
Dr. Stephane Dreher is the Head of Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) at ERTICO – ITS Europe. He coordinates the EU-funded CCAMbassador project, fostering collaboration, international cooperation and knowledge sharing for R&I, testing and deployment across Europe. He is part of the Executive Group of the European CCAM Partnership under Horizon Europe, leading the coordination cluster. Previously, he worked with the UNDP in Riyadh on transport data and analytics and led EU Government Programmes at HERE Technologies in Brussels. He contributed to the early development of the Local Dynamic Map concept, laying the groundwork for high-definition maps used in cooperative and automated vehicles.
Anto is a seasoned leader in Intelligent Transport Systems, Electronic Toll Collection and Smart Mobility, bringing 20 years of international experience across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Australia, and South America. He currently serves as Head of CCAM SWARCO, leading a multidisciplinary organization focused on advancing Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility.
Over the past two decades, Anto has worked both on the road‑operator side and in several globally leading mobility companies, holding VP and C-level roles across product strategy, solution consulting, system engineering, and business development.
His expertise spans connected‑vehicle ecosystems, roadside intelligence, cloud‑based mobility platforms, and next‑generation digital infrastructure.
Iona Kirkpatrick has a gained extensive experience managing research-based CCAM projects, having spent siginificant time in the research sector, working for Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH as an EU Project Manager. A graduate of Durham University’s Russian programme, she began her career in commercial translation before completing a master’s degree in EU Project & Public Management. Iona has a strong understanding of cross-border coordination and EU funding mechanisms which is well applied as part of IRF’s international project portfolio.
Craig Milligan has completed more than 600 road safety audits and has developed numerous road safety technologies in the areas of ITS, video analytics, and V2X. He was the CEO of MicroTraffic before it was acquired by Miovision, where he continues to serve as a product advisor. He currently is managing director of Fireseeds North where he is a consultant to governments and private companies in road safety. He has a PhD in road safety engineering from University of Manitoba.
