Richard Butter visited CES Asia

Thursday, 21 June 2018

Richard attended CES Asia last week to see what the consumer technology industry in Asia has on offer. Compared to the mother show in Las Vegas, CES Asia has a larger focus on Artificial Intelligence, User Interface, Robotics and Vehicle Technology, which is a fascinating development for the world of Intertraffic. As we already saw at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2018, the market focusses more and more on deployment of technology and improving user interfaces to ease mobility.

30% of the show floor was filled with Autonomous Driving and Smart Mobility. Two trends of which China is one of the key players in the industry. The CEO’s of AliBaba, BYTON and Huawei, all keynote speakers at the event, reconfirmed China’s status as innovators. “In the coming years, the industry will see a shift towards China as most important economic giant, and with Intertraffic China we’re more than prepared!”, Richard says.
