Sergiu Marzac

Sergiu Marzac has more than 20 years aviation experience both in Government and private sectors.

He joined Boeing in May 2022, and he is leading and acts as a key resource for understanding ongoing safety and regulatory initiatives of significance to Boeing in the emerging technologies domain across the globe, in close collaboration with subsidiaries and partners.

In his current role as Head of Regulatory Strategy for Emerging Technologies, Sergiu serves as
a member of the EUROCAE Technical Advisory Committee responsible for the IAM domain and as Membership Secretary at JARUS' Industry Stakeholder Body and supports other industry groups and initiatives including EASA, ICAO, SESAR3 JU etc.

Prior to joining Boeing, he worked at EUROCAE managing standardization activities to cover UAS, UTM/U- Space, C-UAS, airports and other topics in close coordination with regulators,
R&D and other relevant stakeholders. Before that he worked at the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova where he dealt with high-level
policy initiatives and regulatory affairs aiming at enforcing safe operations, high aviation security standards, fair competition and consumer protection. In this capacity he worked closely with ICAO, EASA and regional aviation organizations like EUROCONTROL and
European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). 

Sergiu has a legal background and an MBA in Aviation degree.
