Chief Executive Officer and shareholder of Fit Consulting. Degree in Statistics. Almost 30 years’ of my life spent on Research and Innovation in transport, logistics and mobility of people and goods. Member of the Board of Director at ALICE "Alliance for Logistics Innovation through collaboration in Europe", the European Technology Platform on Logistics, after 10 years chairing the Urban Logistics group. My career has been enriched being awarded at the Transport Research Arena, TRA VISION 2024 in Dublin, as ‘Best Senior Researcher for CrossModality’ for ‘my contribution to the digitalisation of urban logistics and planning". Recently appointed as Physical Internet Ambassador complementing my recognition as International Data Spaces Association Ambassador and Honorary Member of the European Parking Association for giving an impulse to the twin transition realisation for green and digitalised mobiilty for people and goods. My mission is to contribute in unchaining potentials for horizontal collaboration, and boosting the Physical Internet globally. I was inspired by the music industry evolution ‘from vinyl to streaming’, and its analogy with Logistics, that can be commoditised and supplied by decentralised digital platforms, providing shared and federated services, within a trustworthy governance and data sovreignity. I am the Project coordinator of many EU projects such as IKIGAI and DISCO, towards decarbonised and digital logistics and urban logistics and the full realisation of the Twin Transition. Both projects are funded by the Horizon Europe Programme. Director of several Horizon Europe projects and studies (including the EU Mission Cities projects), EIT Urban Mobility, IEE-STEER, LIFE +, CIVITAS, JTI-FCH, HORIZON 2020 and past EU Framework programmes, from 4th to 7th. Passionate specialist in Physical Internet, Data Spaces, Curbside Management, Urban Mobility Planning, Open Source and E-commerce. Project Manager of the EU Commission Service Contract “New mobility patterns for European cities’. Invited Professor on Master in Eco-mobility Management (Luiss Business School). Member in the Scientific Committee of the European Parking Association Conference, and PDAYs (AIPARK initiative), as specialist on urban freight and curbside management. Author of several R&I papers and specialistic publications in urban logistics and urban mobility innovations
