Olivier Asselin

Olivier Asselin has been involved in parking policy for 15 years, working at Lille Metropole as parking policy officer. He chairs the Parking Working Group for POLIS Network, and in France the Parking Working Group for the AITF (French Municipal Engineers Association), for whom he is also Vice-president. 

He has been involved in the construction of French legal frame on several parking issues. Locally, he plays a role as an expert on parking policies, helping technicians and political makers with studies, data, in order to implement the parking policy developped in the SUMP.

Olivier has also published different articles on parking, and coordinated special issues on parking policy for the journal « Transports Urbains ». He also gives some formations on mobility and parking policies. He regularly speaks on parking issues at european and national events.
