Jonas Heller

Jonas Heller is a Data Analist and drone pilot with a Master’s degree in Applied Data Science from Utrecht University. At the ANWB, he leads all data and IT initiatives within the Medical Drone team, where he oversees projects ranging from order systems for medical partners and control tower systems for landing infrastructe to electronic visibility solutions and advanced risk‑analysis capabilities.

He is the driving force behind the SORA-based risk analysis tool for drone route planning. An innovation that has attracted significant interest from stakeholders across the drone and healthcare sectors. Combining technical expertise with operational experience in the field, Jonas plays a key role in shaping safe, scalable, and data‑driven drone operations in the Netherlands.
