Safety Cloud is a real-time digital alerting platform that ingests live data from emergency fleets, road operators and connected systems, then distributes trusted safety messages into vehicles and navigation experiences, giving drivers earlier warning to slow down and move over around incidents, responders and work zones.
Gareth brings deep experience in connected-vehicle data leadership spanning commercialisation, partnerships, and the deployment of data services across OEM and public-sector ecosystems. Stephanie Kleine, a civil engineer, has been working in the field of intelligent transport systems on operational level and in ministries for over 30 years. She has been involved in the development of ITS harmonisation and seamless ITS services in Europe for two decades in leading roles as part of EU ITS funding projects and was responsible for the European exchange of ITS experts from road operators and road authorities in the field of TIS, TM and freight and logistics for over 10 years. 
In 2012, the European EASYWAY Deployment Guidelines were adopted by the national transport ministries, for which Stephanie was largely responsible. For her work she was honoured with the EASYWAY Award for Outstanding Contribution. 
She is currently passionate about smart cycling. In 2025, she co-authored the European “Smart Cycling Roadmap: A Call to Action” developed in a joint effort of CEF project MERIDIAN and the Interreg North Sea project MegaBITS.
NAPCORE recently appointed her as Cycling and Walking Coordinator. Her responsibilities include establishing solid cooperation with the external cycling and walking ecosystem.

Dario began his career in the nuclear industry before moving on to lead a startup focused on real-world deployments of autonomous vehicles. Today, Dario works as a freelance consultant and collaborates with Espaces-Mobilités, an independent firm that has been advising public authorities, transport operators, and businesses on mobility and public space for over 20 years. A significant part of his work is dedicated to the Mobility Masterclass, a training program designed to build capacity across the entire mobility ecosystem. Autonomous mobility has been a key focus within this program, through hands-on training, international study tours to the USA and China, and real-world deployments of autonomous shuttles on public roads.

Paul is the innovation-driven Director of Mobility within Technolution. From the start, I have focused on innovations in (road and vessel) traffic management. Not limiting myself to applied research and proofs-of-concepts, but helping the innovations find their way to Technolution's commercial propositions and platforms for traffic information and management. And yes, this requires the patience that can take 10 to 15 years from the moment of the first targeted demonstrations to the broadly rolled-out and operational solutions that really matter. As Chief Technology & Research Officer at ACISA, I lead the development of our Smart Mobility cloud suite (Saturno) deployed across 15+ Spanish cities, combining edge computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud-native architectures. My work bridges cutting-edge technology with practical applications: from next-generation traffic light controllers with edge computing capabilities and AI,  to Digital Twin based traffic forecasting models that have improved congestion prediction.

This research started to materialize in projects like 6G Twin Road, where we model urban intersections through digital twins, and COGNIT, an EU-funded serverless AI framework for cloud-edge applications.
My career combines strategic vision with hands-on technical expertise: from negotiating alliances securing over €1.5M in funding to directly developing V2X solutions and certifying systems under ISO 27001 and ENS frameworks. Ricardo Tiago has a degree in Civil Engineering - Roads and Transport from ISEL - Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa. He began his professional life in 2004 at EP - Estradas de Portugal, working in road safety area. Between 2008 and 2012, he worked in InIR - Institute of Road Infrastructures, in road safety, contract management of road concessions, more specifically in monitoring and following up maintenance activities of road managers. With the merger of the 3 institutes InIR / IMTT / IPTM, he joined IMT - Institute for Mobility and Transport, in the Contracts and Concessions Management Department. Since 2016, his career has been more focussed on the international area, and he is currently IMT’s Senior Advisor in Intelligent Mobility (ITS, C-ITS, CCAM). Dr. Stephane Dreher is the Head of Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) at ERTICO – ITS Europe. He coordinates the EU-funded CCAMbassador project, fostering collaboration, international cooperation and knowledge sharing for R&I, testing and deployment across Europe. He is part of the Executive Group of the European CCAM Partnership under Horizon Europe, leading the coordination cluster. Previously, he worked with the UNDP in Riyadh on transport data and analytics and led EU Government Programmes at HERE Technologies in Brussels. He contributed to the early development of the Local Dynamic Map concept, laying the groundwork for high-definition maps used in cooperative and automated vehicles.

Daniel Baumann is CEO and a member of the executive management of Swisstraffic Inc., a Swiss engineering and consulting company specializing in traffic engineering, mobility planning, and road safety. He has a background in civil and traffic engineering and studied at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where he graduated in 2001.  With many years of experience in traffic and mobility projects, Daniel Baumann focuses on intelligent mobility solutions, traffic safety, and sustainable transport systems. Associate Professor Marko Ševrović, PhD, is an international transport expert with over 20 years of experience in transport planning, road infrastructure design, and road safety. Since October 2025, he serves as Vice-Dean for Business and Administrative Affairs at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, Croatia. He previously held the position of Head of the Department for Transport Planning at the same Faculty. He is also the Director and Senior Road Safety Expert at the European Institute of Road Assessment (EIRA) in Slovenia.
Throughout his career, Ševrović has been a lead author and manager of numerous transport studies and Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) for cities across Croatia and beyond. His work includes the development of transport master plans, traffic engineering projects, transport policy and parking strategies, as well as road safety audits and assessments. He has overseen delivery of more than 100 transport studies and eight SUMP documents, working on projects in over 50 cities and 20 countries.
Ševrović has also been a project manager and principal road safety engineer on many transport planning projects in Croatia, as well as on EuroRAP/iRAP and related international road safety initiatives. He has led the implementation of iRAP protocols and capacity-building training in Croatia, the UK, Qatar, Lebanon, Ghana, Ethiopia, Senegal, Bosnia and other countries. He has contributed to several EU-funded projects related to road infrastructure safety, including SENSOR, RADAR, SLAIN, and NETSAFETY, and is currently involved in Horizon Europe projects PHOEBE, ELABORATOR, and CAMBER. He also serves as a PhD mentor within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network project IVORY (AI for Vision Zero in Road Safety).

After graduating from RWTH Aachen University in 2016 with an M.Sc. degree in Automotive Engineering, Timo Woopen joined the Automated Driving Department at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) of RWTH Aachen University. His primary research interests include automated and connected vehicles, alongside infrastructural support. From 2018 to 2023, Timo Woopen served as the overall project manager for the UNICARagil project, pioneering modular architectures for agile and automated vehicle concepts. Since 2019, is head of the Vehicle Intelligence & Automated Driving division at ika. In 2021, he additionally assumed the role of CEO at Thinking Cars GmbH, a startup spawned from the UNICARagil project focusing on Open-Source-Software for functional components and middleware of autonomous vehicles. In 2025, he completed his doctoral degree with honors.

Marije works as senior research at KiM Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy, an independent research institute within the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement. KiM provides (scientific) research and knowledge inputs for the preparation of mobility policy at the Ministry. Marije works on various topics relating to accessibility and personal mobility. Recent projects include a study on acceptabele traveltimes to various destinations; work on digital exclusion in public transport, and a project to develop persona's for a more target group oriented approch for sustainable travel behavior.

Kevin, a Chartered Engineer, spent 28 years as an Officer in the Corps of Military Engineers serving at home and overseas. He moved to Technical Director within Civil Defence in Ireland where he founded the then largest drone operation in Ireland in 2012. In 2019 he joined the Manna team at the beginning and led the team in achieving one of the first LUCs issued by NAAs in Europe in April 2021. This LUC is now at SAIL III BVLOS over populated areas. Kevin is currently serving a second term as President of Drone Alliance Europe.

Randell Iwasaki is an accomplished Executive Director with extensive experience in delivering projects, programs, and innovations in the public sector transportation industry. He is a strong business development professional with expertise in Environmental Awareness, Highway Design, Contract and Construction Management, Innovation, and Transportation Planning.
Randell began his career at the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in 1983, where he rose through the ranks to become Chief Deputy Director from 2004 to 2009 and then Director from 2009 to 2010, having been appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger. During his time at Caltrans, he received the Charles H. Purcell Award for managerial excellence, given by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, and the "Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers" award from Government Technology Magazine.
Following his tenure at Caltrans, Randell served for over a decade as the Executive Director of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, one of the most innovative transportation agencies in the United States. While there, he founded GoMentum Station, the largest secure automated vehicle test facility in the nation.
After his time at the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, Randell joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Leader of State and Local Transportation. In this role, he led AWS’s data support and analysis services for state and local transportation agencies, including artificial intelligence applications, new technology development, policy and planning analysis, and traffic operations support.
Currently, Randell is the President and CEO of Iwasaki Consulting Services, Inc. He also serves as a Board Member at Advanced Mobility Analytics Group and Moffatt & Nichol and is a Senior Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, where he works part-time.
Randell is an internationally recognized leader in transportation research and innovation, particularly in automated and connected vehicle technology development and testing. He has been involved in numerous TRB committees and research panels, often as chair, and served as Chair of the USDOT’s Freight Advisory Committee for three years.
Among his many accolades, Randell received the Thomas H. MacDonald Memorial Award from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials for his contributions to highway engineering. In 2016, Eno Transportation and Shared Mobility Strategies identified him as one of the top 10 public sector transportation innovators in the nation.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Randell has made significant contributions to education. He donated an Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory to the College of Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he also served on the Industry Advisory Board and Dean's Advisory Council before his term ended. He continues to support the university's student chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers through guest lectures and mentorship.

As a senior consultant at TNO, I work on the transition to a smart and sustainable mobility system. I have a special focus on space use, human well-being, and equality. With a background in human geography, I started out in the more technically oriented field of dynamic traffic management and mobility management. In recent years, the focus has shifted back to the spatial domain and related questions about people's mobility behavior. I am currently active in the field of mobility, well-being (Broad Prosperity), and spatial use, developing and applying frameworks to operationalize policy ambitions into indicators and guidelines for policymakers. In addition, I am working on the transdisciplinary TNO program Balanced Spatial Choices, in which we develop knowledge, methods, and tools to support the decision-making process around social, ecological, and economic ambitions.

Kim Mundy joined TNS as Head of Account Management in 2025. In this role, Kim brings over 20 years’ experience in the payments industry as she supports and manages the account management team to foster strong client relationships and leads strategic planning efforts. She brings with her extensive experience in developing and expanding business and securing highprofile clients and partnerships.
 Prior to joining TNS, Kim was a Senior Account Manager at Amazon, having joined in 2022 as Senior Tech Business Developer. At Amazon, Kim led logistics strategy for a portfolio of enterprise retail clients, developed a safety-first protocol for Amazon field teams and mentored over 15 account and sales managers, fostering growth in negotiation and client engagement skills. Her work was nominated for an Amazon Account Management award. She previously held the roles of Senior Launch Manager and Senior Tech Business Developer at the company.
 Kim has also held senior roles within the payments industry including Senior Account Director at NCR Corporation, Corporate Account Director at Worldpay and Sales Director - UK at 3C Payments. Dr. Vassilis AGOURIDAS is the Co-Chair of IDI (ITS-Driven Innovative aerial services), an innovation and deployment platform launched at the ITS World Congress 2024 in Dubai and powered by ERTICO-ITS Europe with which Vassilis has been affiliated since September 2024.  Previously, Dr AGOURIDAS had been with Airbus for 16 years, holding senior positions in Strategic Innovation and Corporate Development pioneering the Strategic Development of Urban Air Mobility. He is former Chairman of the UAM Committee of ASD Europe (the Aerospace, Security & Defence Industries Association of Europe) and he has been a member of the EASA's (European Commission's Aviation Safety Agency) Task Forces on Social Acceptance and on the Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) Hub. Dr AGOURIDAS led, as external expert, the team for the work of the European Commission's Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on the Guidance Material/AMCs of Article 18(f) of (EU) 2021/664 for the coordination mechanism and multilevel governance.  Dr AGOURIDAS is currently an Advisor to Eurocontrol in the Advanced Air Mobility Study Group (AAM SG) of ICAO (the UN’s International Civil Aviation Organisation) where he has been leading the ‘AAM impacts and UN's Sustainable Development Goals’ subgroup and he has been the Focal Point for the 'Integrating with Mobility Plans & Community Engagement' topic of the Guidance Development WG.
Dr. AGOURIDAS is the Founder, and Strategic Advisor (Apr 2025-present), of the UIC2 (Urban Air Mobility Initiative Cities Community) established in October 2017 with the support of the European Commission, initially within the EU's Smart Cities Marketplace. Since September 2022, UIC2 has been the UAM Thematic Cluster of the EU's CIVITAS Initiative. Vassilis, as leader of the UIC2 (Oct 2017- Mar 2025) has led, amongst other, the development, by UIC2, of the EU's Urban Mobility Observatory publication on Urban Air Mobility and Sustainable Urban Mobility (SUMP-UAM, Practitioner Briefing) in 2021, and the UIC2 Manifesto on the Multilevel Governance of the Urban Skies in 2020.

Chris Bley has a BA in Biology from UC Santa Cruz. He has been involved in renewable energy for 20 years and currently focused on the aviation industry. Chris founded Rope Partner in 2001, a rope access service company originally based in Santa Cruz. In 2012, Chris focused on the growing needs of Internet of Things in wind energy, solar and utility industries, thus co-founded InspecTools. This new company built drones, integrated sensors and developed software to capture imagery and deliver objective insights into a cloud based GIS software for OEM & owners of wind, solar and grid infrastructure assets. In September, 2018, InspecTools was acquired by PrecisionHawk and in January of 2020, Rope Partner was acquired by Magnesium Capital. Chris is currently focused on several drone/aviation related projects including Monterey Bay DART (a non-profit, supporting and connecting aviation innovations, training & collaborations between industry, academia and government).
