Daniel Baumann

Daniel Baumann is CEO and a member of the executive management of Swisstraffic Inc., a Swiss engineering and consulting company specializing in traffic engineering, mobility planning, and road safety. He has a background in civil and traffic engineering and studied at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where he graduated in 2001. 
With many years of experience in traffic and mobility projects, Daniel Baumann focuses on intelligent mobility solutions, traffic safety, and sustainable transport systems. He is member of the swiss standards committee on road infrastructure safety and is active in a teaching role for Road Safety Audit and Road Safety Inspection courses. In addition to his role at Swisstraffic AG, he is actively involved in professional networks within the Swiss mobility and ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) community.
