Public Mobility: Orchestrating the Public Domain
Digitalisation in the transport industry is majoring. Within the industry we work hard to make sure the development of the digitalisation is aligned and shared & accessible with all mobility players within the public and private domain.
There is a need from cities to provide Cities with the right Tools to orchestrate the Public Domain. The model dedicated to offer Mobility for all Users as a Social right is called Public Mobility.
This session explores the model needed to optimise the public domain. We will touch on the potential Financial impact to keep Mobility affordable for all players. Speakers
Roelof Hellemans holds a Master in Logistics and Economics and he is a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.
Roelof started his career at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (>10 years) where in the end he became responsible for Parking and Mobility Services. During this period he learned all about Influencing Mobility Behaviours of Customers. The first EU parking reservation tool, a global introduction of a Revenue Management on all Mobility Services and learned and set up Customer Experience focus to impact and influence the user expectations and behaviours.
After this exited period Roelof become the Director Parking at the municipality of Amsterdam. During this phase he learned everything on the way governments are working and how to realize the public expectations.
The last 10 years Roelof set up multiple companies, advised governments and private companies all over the world on MaaS solutions and strategic directions.
In the last 4 years Roelof is working as the General Secretary for the MaaS Alliance. He is the Evangelist for renewing the Global Mobility Framework: creating mobility tools and services for Public Authorities to create safer, Sustainable and a nicer Public Domain for all people : the current and the future generation: our kids.
