Korea’s National ITS Framework and Future Mobility Vision - Location: Balcony Hall 1
Location: Balcony Hall 1
Since introducing ITS policy directions in the early 1990s, Korea has spent more than three decades building one of the world’s most comprehensive Intelligent Transport Systems ecosystems - linking national legislation, long-term master planning, standardized architectures, and large-scale deployments to deliver safer, more efficient, and increasingly automated mobility services.
Korea’s ITS today is entering a new phase: from managing traffic to orchestrating connected, automated, and AI-enabled mobility. Backed by a strong legal and planning framework, the ITS Master Plan 2030 and the C-ITS Roadmap are guiding nationwide deployment of digital road infrastructure, while AX-Sprint accelerates AI convergence to deliver real-world service breakthroughs.
