Innovative Air Mobility Hub: sustainable implementation of innovative air mobility services

Kevin Houston: 

President of Drone Alliance Europe & Director of Regulation, MANNA Drone Delivery. 

Kevin, a Chartered Engineer, spent 28 years as an Officer in the Corps of Military Engineers serving at home and overseas. He moved to Technical Director within Civil Defence in Ireland where he founded the then largest drone operation in Ireland in 2012. In 2019 he joined the Manna team at the beginning and led the team in achieving one of the first LUCs issued by NAAs in Europe in April 2021. This LUC is now at SAIL III BVLOS over populated areas. Kevin is currently serving a second term as President of Drone Alliance Europe.

Daan Dousi is the Head of Department for Innovative Air Mobility at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), a position he has held since June 2025. Mr. Dousi possesses a strong foundation in aviation, having held a flight crew license, instructor rating, and type rating on the Boeing 737-800. He also holds academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree in business and management, as well as a Master's degree in air safety management. Throughout his career, Mr. Dousi has accumulated extensive experience in the aviation industry. He began his professional journey in ground operations with KLM, followed by roles in commercial flight and training operations with Ryanair. In 2012, he joined EASA as a flight crew licensing expert and has since held various management positions within the Agency's aircrew and medical, and air operations domains, demonstrating his expertise and leadership capabilities. As a seasoned aviation professional, Mr. Dousi is committed to advancing the industry through innovative technologies and products. Recently, he obtained his drone pilot certificate, further solidifying his expertise in emerging aviation trends.
