This panel brings together experts from Nissan, Holo, Wayve, Uber and WeRide to discuss the current state of autonomous vehicle deployment. From global ambitions to real-world implementation, the discussion will focus on what is already happening today and what is needed to scale up in practice.
Dario began his career in the nuclear industry before moving on to lead a startup focused on real-world deployments of autonomous vehicles. Today, Dario works as a freelance consultant and collaborates with Espaces-Mobilités, an independent firm that has been advising public authorities, transport operators, and businesses on mobility and public space for over 20 years. A significant part of his work is dedicated to the Mobility Masterclass, a training program designed to build capacity across the entire mobility ecosystem. Autonomous mobility has been a key focus within this program, through hands-on training, international study tours to the USA and China, and real-world deployments of autonomous shuttles on public roads.
As Chief Business Development Officer at Holo, I lead growth across our passenger, freight, and air cargo segments. My mission is to move autonomous mobility from vision to reality by building the strategic partnerships and commercial frameworks needed to scale.
I have been with Holo for nine years and hold a background in mechanical engineering. This technical foundation allows me to bridge the gap between complex hardware and commercial strategy. Throughout my decade in the autonomy space, I have led key initiatives like the Groruddalen project with Ruter and Mobileye, pushing the limits of AV integration in public ecosystems.
Today, I leverage that experience to help partners navigate the evolving value chain and transition from pilots to large-scale commercial deployments. I am focused on creating the operational blueprints that will define the future of global mobility.
