SERNIS introduced the SR-IPCS, now known as SR-TICS, on two of the city's most hazardous roads, providing efficient alerts and reduced maintenance costs. The Intelligent Pedestrian Crosswalk System (SR-IPCS) was the ideal solution to enhance signalization and security due to its dynamic warning system, efficient alert signals, low power consumption, and reduced maintenance costs.

The SR-IPCS detects pedestrians at crosswalks using real-time image processing and automatically manages a set of warnings through vertical signs and road studs. The warnings are displayed on both sides of the road across all traffic lanes. When pedestrians are crossing, the colors of the LED signs and road studs change to red to capture drivers' attention.
