Gewiss Football Stadium relies on HUB Parking
In the heart of Bergamo, the new underground car park at the Atalanta football team's stadium is a key piece of infrastructure for urban mobility and for enhancing the city's sports area. Thanks to the sporting achievements of La Dea (as the people of Bergamo call Atalanta) in recent years, the stadium has attracted fans and visitors from all over Italy and abroad.
The facility offers 348 parking spaces and operates 24/7, catering to daily users such as residents, workers, and season-ticket holders, as well as occasional visitors and fans on match days. During sporting events, the entire car park is reserved exclusively for sports clubs, ensuring smooth operations even at peak times.
Powered by HUB’s Jupiter access control system and JMS management platform, the car park delivers automated entry and exit, real-time occupancy updates, and centralized control over transactions and validations. Integrated Variable Message Signage (VMS) panels provide instant information on space availability and event-related updates, while online pre-booking through Parclick and mobile validations via the J4M platform offer a seamless, contactless experience for visitors.
This combination of technology and smart management improves operational efficiency and provides ATB Spa with advanced reporting and analytics, supporting better planning, marketing initiatives, and optimized occupancy. Completed rapidly without disrupting public use, the project demonstrates how technology can enhance accessibility, interconnectivity, and elevate efficiency in busy urban areas.
