Interesting Facts in the New Version of MMR and ANPR

The new MMR product release introduces enhanced vehicle classification, distinguishing between regular trucks and semi-trucks, and detecting whether a motorcycle rider or cyclist is wearing a helmet. The ANPR system now automatically groups multi-vehicle units into sets, and thanks to the improved detector, it can also identify the number of wheels.

Regular updates to the neural networks ensure recognition of new vehicle models, expand geographical coverage (now including all South American countries), and enhance overall classification accuracy.

Europol’s own expert jury selected the participating companies for the event, organized by the Europol Innovation Lab, to showcase the latest technological advancements in the security market.

We will present to high-ranking police representatives from over 30 countries and the European Union at the International Conference on Road Safety in Italy on October 9th. The presentation, titled “Smart Solutions for Road Safety,” will highlight the impact of ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and MMR (Mobile Mapping Radar) technologies in enhancing law enforcement capabilities.

ROADPOL is a network of European traffic police forces focused on reducing road fatalities and serious injuries across Europe.

A desktop application for offline analysis of unreadable license plates in degraded video or photo evidence. It uses a proprietary deep neural network trained specifically for recovering license plate content from degraded visual input, such as motion blur, low resolution, poor lighting, or oblique angles. Equipped with our MMR, it enables recognition over 15,000 make-model-generation-variant combinations. It currently supports 36 countries.
