Eco-Friendly & Efficient: Brite-Line Marking Tapes Support Guangdong's Key "Transportation Power" Project
Brite-Line’s preformed road marking tapes have been successfully applied in the G25 Changshen Expressway expansion project—a key initiative under Guangdong Province's 14th Five-Year Plan—and have received high praise from the project owner for their outstanding performance.
Due to Guangdong's "work-while-traffic-flows" model for expressway expansion, the construction team continuously optimized traffic management plans following the principle of "minimizing disruption, ensuring traffic flow, and organizing work scientifically" to maintain both construction progress and traffic safety. Furthermore, as the project passes through ecologically sensitive areas, multiple environmental protection measures—such as preventing soil erosion and protecting wildlife habitats—were implemented, adding to the complexity and cost of construction.
In this expansion project, Brite-Line's PL4000 series temporary preformed marking tapes (white and orange) played a vital role. Easy to apply with a self-adhesive backing, the tapes allow for quick "peel-and-stick" installation and can be removed without damaging the road surface, significantly reducing lane closure time. The product contains zero heavy metals, minimizing soil and groundwater pollution, and avoids the CO₂ emissions, dust, and noise associated with traditional marking methods—making it well-aligned with the project's environmental goals.
Notably, sections of the project also utilized Brite-Line's new PLU10022B dot-type temporary vibratory preformed marking tape. Manufactured using advanced preforming technology with high-quality rubber as the base material, this product offers excellent retroreflective performance. Its bright yellow color provides clear visual guidance for drivers and is particularly suitable for temporary downhill sections in highway expansion zones, effectively alerting drivers to slow down in advance and enhancing overall road safety.
