Complete ITS Solutions by MAV and AGD
MAV Systems and AGD Systems will showcase a complete portfolio of intelligent transport and detection solutions at this year's Intertraffic, designed to optimise traffic flow, enhance road safety, and support the evolving needs of smart cities.
As a leading provider of intelligent Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, MAV Systems delivers advanced data capture and AI-driven analytics for highways, tolling, parking and enforcement applications. Combining high-performance hardware with powerful software platforms, MAV provides accurate, real-time vehicle intelligence that enables smarter operational and strategic decision-making.
At the show, MAV will present its latest innovations:
MAV Mobile delivers instant ANPR intelligence without the need for fixed installations, increasing enforcement accuracy, accelerating vehicle identification and enabling behavioural tracking. Its flexible deployment supports wider operational coverage, reduced costs and seamless integration with both new and legacy back-office systems, or independent in-car management.
MAV AiQ is MAV’s advanced AI-powered analytics platform, transforming high-performance ANPR capture into actionable insight. Supporting GhostPlate identification, vehicle classification, behavioural analysis, data filtering and secure API integration, MAV AiQ empowers transport authorities with powerful tools for traffic management, enforcement and planning.
BayiQ extends intelligent detection to bay and zone monitoring, delivering accurate vehicle presence and dwell-time data for parking, kerbside management and wider smart city applications. With rich data outputs and seamless integration into existing parking and ITS platforms, BayiQ enables efficient space utilisation, policy enforcement and data-driven urban planning.
Complementing MAV’s ANPR expertise, AGD Systems brings over 50 years of ITS experience across highways, intersections and pedestrian detection. At Intertraffic, AGD will demonstrate how intelligent detection technology can create safer, more efficient junctions while reducing installation complexity, on-street assets and long-term maintenance costs.
Featured innovations include:
AGD352 Multi-Lane Radar, which transforms vehicle detection at signalised intersections. With a wide 110-degree azimuth, a single radar can monitor up to two junction approaches and provide up to 32 detection points, significantly reducing infrastructure and potential points of failure. Mounted up to 6 metres above ground, it delivers loop-like performance without the risks associated with road surface degradation. Proven in MOVA applications across the UK, the AGD352 also supports broader traffic control strategies and four-class vehicle classification, while reusing existing infrastructure to lower deployment and whole-life costs.
AGD646 AI Pedestrian & VRU Detector, a vision-based, AI-powered solution designed for high-footfall environments. Featuring a large 10m x 3m detection zone and powered by an advanced NVIDIA processor, the AGD646 enables accurate vulnerable road user identification, volumetric detection, IR illumination and rich JSON data outputs via Ethernet, enhancing safety and insight at busy junctions.
Together, MAV Systems and AGD Systems provide an integrated ITS ecosystem, from advanced ANPR and parking intelligence to radar-based vehicle detection and AI pedestrian monitoring, delivering performance, reliability and future-ready traffic intelligence.
Visitors to Intertraffic can experience live demonstrations of these technologies at Stand 05.428 and discuss how our solutions can support safer, smarter and more efficient urban mobility.
