Graduated from Systems Engineering at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). Director in various companies developing technologies for transport and mobility. Vice President of Technologies at the Mexican Association of Transportation Engineering (AMIT). Associate (2001) in the International Union of Public Transport (UITP) workshops in Mexico. Founder of Intelligent Transportation Systems, AC (ITS Mexico) in 2007, current president. Permanent Advisor/Director of global companies of ITS technologies and mobility. Academic of various universities in mobility technologies and logistics platform.

Montserrat Azcarate, Vice-president, ITS
Graduated in Architecture from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tec de Monterrey). With complementary studies in Sustainable Urban Mobility from the Mobility Institute (Pablo de Olavide University, Seville, Spain) and Sustainable Mobility for Friendly Cities from the CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean).
Since 2023, she has participated as head of the Urban Mobility area in the Society of Intelligent Transportation Systems in Mexico (ITS Mexico) and since 2024 as a member of the board of directors of the Mexican Association of Transportation Engineering A.C. (AMIT). She has participated in the development of various urban manuals for municipalities and town councils in Mexico, especially in chapters dedicated to mobility and accessibility.

ARTURO CERVANTES, PRESIDENT, ANASEVI
Surgeon from UNAM with Master's and Doctorate degrees in public health from Harvard University. From the Federal Health Secretariat, he was responsible for the design and implementation of the Mexican Road Safety Initiative (IMESEVI). He directed the first National Program for Road Safety in Mexico and founded the National Breathalyzer Program, promoting the formation of the National Network of Road Safety Auditors and the National System of Road Safety Trainers of IMESEVI. At the international level, he promoted Mexico's adherence to the United Nations Global Plan for Road Safety and the Decade of Action for Road Safety. He was a representative for Mexico in the Group of Friendly Countries of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety and founder of the Ibero-American Road Safety Observatory OISEVI. He promoted the National Road Safety Strategy 2011 – 2020, enacted into Law in 2011 and is the recipient of the 2012 National Road Safety Award, granted by the National Association of Private Transport of Mexico. He currently also serves as coordinator of the Observatory for the Decade of Action for Road Safety.

BERNARDO BARANDA, REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR LATIN AMERICA, ITDP
Bernardo has developed his professional career advancing the improvement of urban accessibility, mainly through projects, publications, interviews, and events. In 2006, he joined the Institute for Transportation and Development Policies (ITDP), a nonprofit organization that advises governments on projects for a more efficient, sustainable and equitable mobility of people in cities, and he currently coordinates said organization’s offices in Mexico and Brazil. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he obtained an MSc in Transport Engineering from the IHE-TU in Delft, Netherlands, and another one in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from the University of Manchester, in the United Kingdom. He is a teacher of the Master’s degree program in Urbanism at UNAM and of the Master’s degree program in Urban Development at Centro University.

Mauricio Jaramillo, Founding Partner and Director, Cuenca Reyes Zavala y Asociados.
Mauricio is Founding Partner and Director at Cuenca Reyes Zavala y Asociados, S.C., and is an expert in international relations, foreign investment and business protocol. For more than 17 years he has promoted foreign investment in Mexico and abroad, in 3 continents, 4 countries and more than 87 cities.
He is International Ambassador of the UNESCO Center for Training in Human Rights, Global Citizenship and Culture of Peace. Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Texas-Europe Chamber of Commerce, in the City of Austin, Texas, and President for Mexico. Since 2015, he is a member of the Foreign Network of Advisors in the Foreign Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. He is a Founding Partner of the Mexico-China Cooperation and Business Center and an associate member of the World Association of Free Trade Zones, based in Dubai.
He is a member of the “Mexico-United States Working Group for the electrification of transportation”, is part of the group of businessmen and advisors to develop the global value chain of semiconductors in North America, and serves as an advisor in some Economic Development Secretariats in the initiatives of the Regional Integration of North America. He is in the process of joining the United Nations Center for Trade Facilitation, and Electronic Commerce, as well as the Mexican Network of the United Nations Global Compact.
He has been considered one of the 300 Most Influential Leaders in Mexico by the publishing house “Los 300 Mexican Leaders” for his international career, and considered for four consecutive years 2020 - 2023 as a Leading Lawyer in the practice of Foreign Trade and twice ranked as a Leading Lawyer in the practice of Foreign Investment, by the publishing house Los Mejores Abogados de México.

Diana Ávalos, General Director, AMIVE
Diana Avalos Morales is the General Director of the Mexican Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles (AMIVE), an association that is building a dialogue around the electric mobility ecosystem in Mexico. Previously, she worked for more than nine years as a climate change advisor at the British Embassy in Mexico, focusing on climate policy, sustainable mobility and green finance. She was also part of the consulting practice for the government sector at PWC Mexico. She graduated from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

FRANCISCO JAVIER GARCÍA, DIRECTOR OF MOBILITY AND TRANSPORTATION, CONUEE
He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM, and completed studies in the specialty of Electrical Engineering (currently Mechatronics) in the auto parts industry in Germany and the corresponding diplomas in Alternative Energies in Italy (IFOA - University of Bologna) and Senior Management at the Universidad Iberoamericana. Mr. García Osorio, who has worked as a researcher, consultant and production planning engineer, is a professor at UNAM and Universidad Marista. He has more than 20 years of experience in the area of energy saving and efficient energy use. In his positions as Director of Energy Saving in Transportation, Director of Energy Supply and Demand Management, and in his current position as Director of Mobility and Transportation of the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE).

EDGAR ALONSO PINEDA
Civil Engineer with studies in Senior Management from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master's Degree in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management from the University of Barcelona. He has more than ten years of experience in the development of planning, feasibility and implementation studies of mobility and transportation projects, infrastructure works, and commercial, housing and mixed-use real estate projects. He is a specialist in developing models and methodologies to perform diagnostics, technical and operational evaluations to optimize and increase the added value of public and private projects. He has participated in studies for high impact projects such as: Line 1 of the Buenavista - Cuautitlán Suburban Railway, Line 5 of the CDMX Metrobus, Corredor Ecovía Lincoln - Ruiz Cortines in Monterrey, Par Vial Morones Prieto - Constitución in Nuevo Leon, among others. He has also acted as consultant and advisor to several regional and urban toll road concessionaires, including the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense, Autopista Urbana Norte, Viaducto Elevado Bicentenario, Autopista Querétaro - Irapuato, among others.

NICOLÁS ROSALES, PRESIDENT, MEXICAN ASSOCIATION OF TRANSPORTATION AND MOBILITY
Law degree from La Salle University. Partner of Corredor Insurgentes S.A de CV, the first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) operator in Mexico City. Since 2010, at the AMTM, he has been responsible for managing strategic partners focused on solving the different problems of urban centers and transportation systems in Mexico and Latin America, as well as linking the AMTM with government agencies and NGOs, national and international. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Public Transport, Latin America Division.

MIRIAM TÉLLEZ, PROFESSOR AND RESEARCHER, UACM Y UNAM
Civil Engineer, Master's Degree in Engineering, experience in Transportation Planning and Operation, Traffic Engineering, Transit and Transportation solution proposals in CDMX and in the Mexican Republic. Professor at the UACM in Engineering in Urban Transport Systems and in the Bachelor of Urbanism at UNAM. Miriam has given training to public transport operators. Additionally, she has participated in the implementation of traffic light models through the SEDESOL-UNAM agreement. Research lines: energy and transportation, sustainable urban mobility, citizen participation and gender, transportation modeling.

Ramón Francisco Reyes Olguín, Head of Road Safety Monitoring, SEMOVI
MISSING
Egresado del Instituto Politécnico Nacional de la Escuela Superior de Comercio y Administración, en 2006, con estudios en Ingeniería en Transporte, ha desarrollado una sólida trayectoria en la planificación y gestión de sistemas de movilidad. Desde 2002, colabora con el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México en proyectos de gestión de riesgos, movilidad urbana y seguridad vial, destacando su participación en el diseño e implementación del Sistema Fotocívicas (2019-2024), una iniciativa innovadora que fomenta la corresponsabilidad ciudadana y reduce incidentes de tránsito mediante sanciones educativas, así como en la creación de las Licencias Tipo A1 (motocicletas) y A2 (automóvil y motocicleta), enfocadas en garantizar conductores capacitados.
Además, ha liderado iniciativas para promover la seguridad vial en la Ciudad de México, incluyendo talleres, campañas de sensibilización y evaluaciones para usuarios de la vía —peatones, ciclistas, motociclistas y automovilistas—, buscando fortalecer una cultura de respeto y responsabilidad. Su experiencia se enriquece con colaboraciones internacionales en seguridad vial, donde ha intercambiado buenas prácticas y adaptado soluciones innovadoras, contribuyendo a posicionar a la capital como referente en movilidad segura y sostenible.
