Zero-Emission Mobility in AURA: Hyggle & Hympulsion Lead the Way
In France’s Auvergne–Rhône–Alpes (AURA) region, industrial IT startup Hyggle and hydrogen operator HYmpulsion are building the operational backbone for zero-emission mobility. Supported by EIT Urban Mobility, the partners focus on ready-to-run hydrogen operations: scaling refuelling infrastructure, standardising procedures, and deploying digital tools that optimise mobile hydrogen storage, station uptime and fleet usage.
Their work underpins the region’s “Zero Emission Valley” by turning pilots into day-to-day practice. This includes operator training and safety playbooks, predictive monitoring of assets, and integration with local public and commercial fleets so vehicles can reliably refuel and stay on the road.

The result: faster time-to-operation for hydrogen stations and fleets, clearer KPIs for cities and operators, and a blueprint AURA can replicate across the region as demand for zero-emission transport grows.
