As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and road safety, PROIN continues to lead the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) across Spain. In the first half of the year, the company has successfully deployed several smart solutions designed to enhance traffic efficiency, prevent accidents, and improve real-time response on critical road infrastructures.

During the first part of the year, PROIN has strengthened its commitment to road safety through participation in multiple projects based on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). These initiatives have contributed to safer and more efficient traffic on various road infrastructures.

Among the supplied solutions are warning systems for adverse weather conditions such as flooding, wind, or fog, as well as innovative technologies for detecting risk situations, including:

Smart retention systems, which automatically alert drivers to unexpected traffic congestion.

Intelligent crossings, designed to prevent collisions at unregulated intersections.

Height detection systems, which prevent impacts by oversized vehicles in tunnels and restricted passages.

Warning systems for the presence of cyclists, animals, or vehicles traveling in the wrong direction.

Advanced visibility and ice detection systems, which activate preventive signaling in real time.

All these technologies are designed with a non-invasive, energy self-sufficient approach, featuring connectivity to intelligent platforms such as PROINCLOUD, which enables remote and centralized management of all installed systems.

With a strong focus on R&D and in-house manufacturing, PROIN continues to consolidate its position as a national benchmark in technology applied to mobility and road safety.
