GARDEROS is a manufacturer of ruggedised cyber-secure routers. Our routers are used in applications such as ANPR, enforcement, traffic signalling/control and tolling systems. Cellular, xDSL, WiFi and Fibre Optic interfaces are available. Cyber-security of thousand of remote routers is ensured by central management of router configuration and firmware. Our new product, the R-8500, offers a 5G wireless interface and edge computing capabilities using virtualisation containers on the router.

Managing a large-scale network of routers can be a daunting task. Is the firmware of a particular router up-to-date? Which configuration does that particular router have? Hardened router with 5G/WiFi-6/Optical interfaces
The R-8500 series of hardened routers offers new features such as optical networking interfaces, a 5G wireless interface, a WiFi-6 interface and certification for the router to be used in moving vehicles. Digital I/O enables the connection of an electrical relay to the router, which can be used to power-cycle other systems at the remote location which have "frozen" or "hung up", thus saving an expensive on-site service visit.
