Automatic vehicle detection using loop inductors
A system for automatic detection and classification of vehicles using embedded loop inductors in the road surface. The system detects the presence of a vehicle in the measurement field and determines its magnetic signature, which is used to identify the type of vehicle (according to the TLS 8+1 classification), its speed, direction of movement, and lane. Based on this signature, the length of the vehicle and the distance to the preceding vehicle are also estimated.

Detection and weighing of vehicles in motion
System for automatic detection and weighing of vehicles in motion. The system utilizes a special arrangement of sensors (inductive loops, pressure sensors) installed in the road surface. This arrangement is designed in such a way that vehicles can be weighed without the need to stop or slow down – they can travel at normal driving speed. As a result, the system can be installed on public roads and is capable of monitoring the weight of each passing vehicle.
