AMORPH will present its privacy-first LiDAR-based traffic intelligence platform at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026, taking place from March 10-13 at RAI Amsterdam (Hall 3 - Booth 03.110E). By participating in the world's leading trade event for traffic management, smart mobility, road safety, and intelligent transport systems (ITS), AMORPH is strategically expanding its proven sensing technology from highly complex airport environments into urban traffic and road infrastructure applications.

Originally developed for demanding airport operations - where precision, reliability, and strict privacy compliance are essential - the technology now addresses the core requirements of modern traffic systems. Cities and infrastructure operators face rising traffic volumes, increasing safety demands - particularly to protect vulnerable road users - as well as growing regulatory pressure and public sensitivity regarding data protection. At the same time, they must avoid adding further complexity to existing infrastructure.
At the exhibition, AMORPH will demonstrate how its LiDAR platform enables accurate multi-modal detection and classification of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and micromobility users using a single sensing technology. The system also supports proactive safety and conflict analytics by identifying near-misses and high-risk interactions, contributing to Vision Zero strategies. Real-time, demand-based signal control replaces static assumptions, while high-quality traffic and planning data are delivered without cameras, facial recognition, or the collection of personal data.
By focusing on movement patterns rather than identifying individuals, AMORPH's privacy-by-design approach allows cities and road operators to deploy advanced monitoring solutions in a GDPR-compliant manner while strengthening long-term public trust.
"Cities should not have to choose between safety, efficiency, and privacy," said Dr. Frank Frauenhoffer, the CEO of AMORPH. "Our technology was built for environments where precision and data protection are non-negotiable. By transferring this expertise from airports to urban mobility, we enable traffic operators to gain reliable, real-time insights while fully respecting individual privacy. We believe the future of intelligent transport systems must be both smart and privacy-first by design."
Visitors to Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 are invited to meet the AMORPH team at Hall 3 - Booth 03.110E to explore how privacy-first sensing can enable safer, smarter, and more responsive traffic systems worldwide.
