The Heads-Up solution utilises patented technology to detect and capture prosecutable evidence of drivers illegally using mobile phones whilst driving. The Acusensus Heads-Up Real Time solution is targeted at the North American market and provides real-time alerts to police officers of drivers who are using a mobile phone, speeding, not wearing a seatbelt or on an automatic number plate recognition “wanted list”. Police units are deployed a few hundred metres downstream from the Acusensus solution. The solution transmits images of offending vehicles to the waiting law enforcement officer within seconds.
