With only one and a half week left till Intertraffic Mexico, we spoke to Cauê Xavier Díaz from Digicon. They started the business in 1977and the headquarter is located in Brazil. Digicon is one of the exhibitors during this event.
Digicon’s main products consist out of access controllers, traffic controllers, parking control systems, electronic time clocks, automatic ticketing systems for urban transportation and build to print components. They started in 1977 with manufacturing high-precision measuring systems for machines. Nowadays this business has been greatly expanded to include the design and development of electromechanical equipment for different market needs. Digicon tries to make the life of customers easier by developing practical and reliable multiplication solutions.
We asked Mr. Dias about the latest innovation of Digicon: “For the urban mobility division the latest innovation is the dFlow, a frictionless gate with normally open doors and higher security levels than any other gate we know of thanks for its overhead detection system that grants much better tailgating detection among other advantages.”
According to Mr. Dias, Intertraffic is an important platform for Digicon. ”Our footprint outside Brazil is still very shy in the Urban Mobility division and there is a lot of potential to generate more business.”
Intertraffic is curious about how Digicon’s innovations can help Mexico City to become a better city: “The normally open doors type of gate grants much faster throughputs for applications such as airports. So the idea is to grant faster flow in a secure way taking less space.”
