EHang fue fundada en 2014 por Huazhi Hu, un talentoso ingeniero, desarrollador de TI y un piloto apasionado. A finales del 2000 perdió a dos de sus mejores amigos en un accidente aéreo. A partir de ese momento, quiso hacer un salvavidas disminuyendo la posibilidad de fallas humanas. Fue entonces cuando comenzó el código fuente del software de vuelo autónomo y este es el nacimiento de EHang. Hablamos con Andreas Perotti, cuyo equipo recibe cientos de correos electrónicos al día desde el estallido de la pandemia.
