Conference

Smart, safe, and sustainable mobility for all

14 - 16 November 2023

Smart, safe, and sustainable mobility for all is a priority for authorities in Latin America. With an urgent need to improve and boost mobility infrastructure, the Mexican government has announced several investment projects for the coming years.

Road safety and the expansion and maintenance of mobility infrastructure are very relevant on the agenda, as well as the improvement of sustainable public transport and the development of micro-mobility infrastructure. Achieving sustainable urban mobility, which includes the road safety plan in order to meet the objectives of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, is one of the great challenges for medium and large cities.

The international conference programme during Intertraffic Mexico integrates the different actors involved in urban mobility with the objective of presenting progress, goals achieved, showing success stories, as well as proposing possible solutions that help resolve the problems that arise in different cities of Mexico and Latin America.
During Intertraffic Mexico 2023, leading national and international companies, public and private institutions will share their knowledge, technology and solutions on smart, safe, inclusive and sustainable mobility with local and Latin American authorities.

During three intense days the following topics will be addressed:

  • Smart Mobility: global trends in autonomous, connected, electric and shared mobility.
  • Road Safety: internationally proven concepts for safe roads and vision zero.
  • Sustainable Urban Mobility: integrated approach to city infrastructure, mobility planning and public transportation.
