Drones and new forms of aviation are beginning to reshape both the sky and everyday life on the ground. They already support medical deliveries, infrastructure inspection, agriculture, safety, and climate adaptation, turning abstract innovation into concrete services people can see and feel. This study follows the “journey” of drones and eVTOLs through different layers of airspace and city life, asking what happens when they become part of the built environment. At each step, dilemmas emerge: how new aircraft share crowded skies, how visible flight paths should be over our streets and rooftops, and how close they should come to homes, workplaces, and public spaces. The story continues on the ground, where pads, vertiports, and energy and logistics hubs must connect seamlessly with existing urban networks. Together, these questions show that the future of flight is as much about space, design, and society as it is about technology and regulation.
