Workshop for startups
How startups can benefit from partnerships with local governments and corporates
Time: Tuesday 20 March 14.00 - 16.00 hrs
Location: ITSUP Arena, Hall 9 (50 seats and limited standing area)
Moderation: Henriette van Eijl, European Commission, Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE)
In this session startups learn how to benefit from partnerships with cities, local governments and corporates for prototyping and testing new products and services in the daily practice of urban life.
The EIP-SCC Action Cluster Sustainable Urban Mobility hosts the session. The EIP-SCC (European Innovation Partnership for Smart Cities and Communities) is a major market-changing undertaking supported by the European Commission. The session features guest speakers from Nissan Innovation Lab and MobilityMoveZ.nl.
This session will present how the Action Cluster Sustainable Urban Mobility can provide opportunities to start-ups to identify lead customers (like city procurers) and how start-ups could work in demonstration-type actions.
A classic win-win situation, collaborating with startups doesn’t only help companies innovate faster, it boosts the growth of the startup immensely.
