Intertraffic China 2017 connected 6437 visitors from 50 countries and 340 exhibitors. An increase of both Chinese and international visitors shows that the Chinese market is still developing.

As the international marketplace for the traffic technology industry, it’s our aim to offer added value to our visitors and exhibitors. The focus of the 2017 exhibition was on business, knowledge, network and hospitality.

A new feature to do business was introduced as Export Route, connecting buyers with exhibitors on the floor. Chinese companies with export ambitions were listed in an overview and marked with Export Route signs on their stand. As a result international guests could easily scan and contact Chinese companies.

In addition to the Export Route, a new online matchmaking tool was introduced, enabling both visitors and exhibitors to select interesting profiles before the show and arrange business and network meetings on-site. This new way of matchmaking, supported on-site by interpreters, was highly appreciated by visitors and exhibitors.

Sharing knowledge was also key. We are proud that among a number of qualified speakers Bill Russo Managing Director, Gao Feng Advisory Company, shared his vision about China's Auto Industry in the Age of Disruption. And MR. Tu Huizhao of Nice City presented the first results and future plans of Nice city; the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone in Shanghai.

Looking back we can conclude that Intertraffic China is genuinely the marketplace in traffic technology in China. Together with our partners TTEC and ITS China we are developing our new plans for the 2018 edition in Beijing. I look forward to seeing you there!
